What we collect
When you send an enquiry
The contact form collects only what is needed in order to reply:
- name;
- phone and/or email — one of them is enough;
- type of enquiry (buying, selling, renting or other);
- the text of your message, including whatever you choose to share in it;
- IP address, browser details and the time of submission — recorded automatically.
When you browse the site
The web server keeps a technical log of every request (IP address, page address, time, browser type). These records serve maintenance and security and are not used for profiling. The site loads no external scripts for measuring visits — the details are in the Cookie Policy.
What we do not collect
Through this site we neither ask for nor store national identity numbers, identity document details, payment cards or special categories of data. If a transaction reaches that stage, documents are exchanged separately and on a different basis, not through the form on the site.
On what basis and for what purpose
- Consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — to handle your enquiry and get in touch with you. You tick it explicitly before sending and can withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)) — to protect the site from abuse and from being flooded with requests. On this basis we record the IP address and browser details and limit the number of enquiries from one address.
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (art. 6(1)(b)) — if the enquiry grows into a viewing, brokerage or a transaction.
- Legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)) — where the law requires us to keep or disclose certain data.
We carry out no automated decision-making and do not profile you.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries — 12 months from the last correspondence about them. After that they are deleted or anonymised.
- Correspondence about a transaction — for the period required by the applicable tax and accounting legislation.
- Technical server logs — up to twelve months.
- Cookie choice — six months from the last change.
If you withdraw your consent earlier, we delete the data unless we have another legal basis for keeping it.
Who else sees your data
We neither sell nor rent out personal data. Access is limited to the advisor working on your enquiry and to the following processors, bound by contract and by our instructions:
- the provider of the server on which the site and the database run;
- the provider of the email service through which we write to you.
The data is stored on a server within the European Union. We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area. Data may be provided to a competent authority where the law requires it.
Your rights
- access to the data we hold about you, and a copy of it;
- rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data;
- erasure (“the right to be forgotten”);
- restriction of processing;
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest;
- portability — to receive your data in a machine-readable form or to ask for it to be transferred;
- withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Write to Info@petrovas.eu. We answer within one month of receiving the request. We may ask for further information to make sure the request comes from you.
Right to complain
If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection:

- 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., Sofia 1592, Bulgaria
- Phone
- 02 915 3 518

- Website

We would, of course, be glad to hear from you first — it is usually quicker.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Access to the admin area is protected by a password stored only as an irreversible hash, and is limited to the agency’s staff. We apply measures against automated flooding with requests. No measure, however, gives a complete guarantee — do not send through the form anything you would not put in an ordinary letter.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The current version is always at this address, and the revision date is shown at the top. Where a change is material, we will ask for your consent again.
